How abruptly you came, crashing into the desert that thirsted for love
How open-minded you came, seeking to know the unknown
How sweet you came, with your words making my heart jump to every syllable of your name
How quickly you came, rushing and forcing this feeling of happiness
How quietly you came, fast but silent until you devoured me whole
How big you came, filling every corner of this void that constantly needed

Such a hopeless romantic I am, falling for each and every word you say
Call my name, oh how I love the way you call my name
It feels like being overwhelmed with all the happiness in the world
And your declaration of affection, makes all the tension disappear 
Craving more of what I need to hear
You say it's your mission to see me smile
But it's my mission to make you mine

This soon-to-be non-stranger, my heart calls for you
My heart secretly screams your name in hoping you'll hear the song that I made 
You gave me the rhythm and I wrote the lyrics, all so I could play a beautiful melody
That transcends every aspect of my being
You've found the key to the music box I've been holding dear
My type of person, my undeniable soul connection
The way you speak, the way you eloquently speak
The sound of your voice and how easily you dragged me in

You enticed me
With all your characteristics and every atom that you are compromised of
It's everything I want
You noticed me among all the other beautiful things around 
You reached out to me, a person you never knew
You caught me, you caught the girl you said has a pretty smile
And I, I was caught by the boy with the pretty eyes.

The Complicated Expression of Love.

I have concluded that my life is absolutely dominated by the meaning of love or maybe it's the feeling. Not just romantically but every form of love there is to exist. The warmth, and need for love constantly draws me to believe that I can't function without it. I struggled with the meaning of love for years. The confusion I faced in my relationships always made me question the validity of my definition of love. I used to hear that you can't define love but what if there was a more straight-forward definition that most of us overlook. 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 says, " Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
